Record your name

NameDrop records your name in your own voice — not text-to-speech. That’s the whole point: people hear how you say your name, with your accent, intonation, and rhythm.

Option 1: Record in your browser

  1. Log in to your NameDrop Dashboard.
  2. Open the Record name section.
  3. Click Record and say your name.
  4. Click Yes once you’re happy with the take.

Option 2: Upload an existing recording

If you already have an audio file (.webm or .mp3 only):

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. In the Record name section, click the ⋮ menu, then Upload Audio.
  3. Drag and drop your audio file, or pick it from your file browser.
  4. Click Upload Audio.
