What is a voice signature?

A voice signature is a short recording of your name that helps others understand how to pronounce it correctly. It ensures your name is said the way you intend, even by people who are unfamiliar with it.

Why do I need a voice signature?

Your name is an important part of your identity. A voice signature helps ensure people pronounce it correctly, so you don’t have to keep correcting them. It’s a simple way to be addressed the way you prefer — every time.

How much does NameDrop cost?

How do I sign up?

  1. Go to user.namedrop.io/signup.
  2. Enter your details and sign up.
  3. Pick your preferred username.
  4. Click Record and say your name.
  5. Click Stop when you’re done.
  6. Listen to your recording and confirm you’re happy with it.
  7. Complete the onboarding flow.
  8. You’ll land on your dashboard — your voice signature is now live.

You’ll also receive a welcome email with your profile link.

How do I record my voice signature?

Same flow as above — go to user.namedrop.io/signup, enter your info, click Record, say your name, click Stop. Listen back before confirming.

I still haven’t received my NameDrop link — what do I do?

Check your Spam folder first. If it’s not there, email help@namedrop.io with your info and we’ll follow up.

Will I get spammed after signing up?

No. NameDrop doesn’t send spam or share your information with third parties for unsolicited communication. We only reach out when it’s necessary or helpful.

Section titled “How do I add the pronounce link to my email signature?”

Two paths:

  1. Use the welcome email — your sign-up confirmation includes an already-formatted “(pronounce)” link you can copy straight into your signature.
  2. Use the dashboard’s Email Signature page — user.namedrop.io/dashboard/integrations/email-signature — pick your preferred phrase and follow the per-client instructions.
